Audio One 19 minute track based around a single sample of a tibetan singing bowl being struck, originally prepared for the musical accompaniment to a performance of Shakespeare's MacBeth. While the processing of the sample serves, ultimately, more pitch-based interaction, the metallic timbre of the bowls are thrown about significantly, cut up and manipulated into drones. Toward the middle of the piece, the tibetan singing bowl sample is overlain by piano sounds, recorded in a classroom.
Package This release is rather minimal in its packaging. A covering paper is contained inside a 3 inch plastic sleeve, cut from recyclable brown 190gsm paper. Inside this, is the CD and insert.
